The Rose and the Wellington II - 2016 - Acrylic on Canvas - 40" x 40" The beige coloured background is to look like a page from a book. Onto this I brush- stroked with a dark colour, French text taken and written exactly from the book "L'Histoire de Babar - le petit elephant."White washes were then applied to push the text back further into the background.
