 Floral Works (1981-1987)  

 

In 1987 Lyn and her husband bought a century-old schoolhouse on an acre of land in Caledon, Ontario. Soon flowers and gardens became the subject matter of her work. She visited neighbours' gardens where peonies were saved for her to draw. She placed magnolias in her studio where their fragrance filled the air. She often sat outside next to poppies, sunflowers, and even bullrushes at Ennis Lake.
